Despite the snow over the pass, we made it safely from Reno to the artists' reception for the 56th National Mother Lode Art Exhibition on November 4th. This show is organized annually by the Placer Arts Association and hung at The MACC (Mills Station Art & Culture Center) in Rancho Cordova . We were impressed by the diversity, quality, and volume of work (hence Mother Lode!). We also learned that out of the 413 artworks entered for the juried show, only 138 were selected. Feeling pretty thankful that mine was among them.
